We are proud to host an exciting array of four large outdoor/garden sculptures constructed of copper by Dunedin artist John Mayne. John Lives in Dunedin since moving from Auckland four years ago. He is using native flora in its seed/pod stage as his current theme. John uses recycled copper which is annealed as the first stage of his creative process. Beautiful and unusual colours occur. A method similar to repousse achieves the finished tactile result of his pieces.
